PADI OPEN WATER DIVE COURSE
If you have had a taste of scuba diving no doubt you have caught the scuba diving bug and now you want to get qualified so you can experience deeper depths to see what else this underwater world has to offer.

The PADI open water course is the entry level for scuba diving, virtually anyone who is healthy, comfortable in water and reasonably fit can earn an open water certification.
The course takes approximately 3-5 days to complete,upon completion of the course you will receive an internationally recognised PADI open water licence.
In order to be able to take the course you should be at least 15 years of age (under the age of 15 years old you can take the junior course). You should be able to swim and float and should have 3-5 days spare so you can pass the course in the correct manner and time.
The course has a theoretical side to it as well as practical so you can expect to spend sometime in the class room studying the theory side which will consist of watching the scuba diving dvd, knowledge reviews, quizzes and a final exam. The practical side will consists of learning, practicing and mastering new skills with our PADI dive instructors. Dives will be done in shallow water from our dive centre at Sharks Bay.

Upon completion of the PADI OWD course you will be able to dive anywhere in the world with a certified dive buddy. The PADI OWD dive licence allows you to dive to a maximum depth of 18 metres.
