A chance of a lifetime to mesmerized by the history of ancient Egypt. Experience Cairo with a VIP touch, less time looking around the perfume and papyrus shop and more time site seeing. This trip has the same itinerary as the Cairo by air trip but is a lot more personal as you will have your very own tour guide so no more big groups. During the trip you will also have a private vehicle to drive you around and the trip can be tailored to best suit you.

Collection – Approximately 5am

Return – Approximately 10.30pm

We will collect you from your hotel reception in the early morning and take you to the airport for your flight to Cairo. At the airport you will be met by your tour guide for the trip.

Upon arrival in Cairo your first stop will be the Egyptian museum where you will have a guided tour of all the artifacts. The museum is huge and even an entire day of exploring it wouldn’t be enough so the tour guide will show you the most popular artifacts and historical exhibits.

After all that walking around the museum you will have worked up an appetite, so the next stop will be the restaurant for lunch where you will enjoy a hot buffet and a little rest before we move on to the perfume shop. The perfume shop is full of gorgeous scented perfumes and beautifully made perfume bottles. You will have a chance to sample some perfumes and should you wish to purchase any you can.

The guide will ask you if you wish to have a felucca boat trip down the Nile, this is an optional extra that can be done on the day and is made payable to the locals in Cairo should you wish to take the boat trip.

Next stop will be at one of the seven wonders of the world the Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx. You will be taken aback by the size and the history of these great monuments. Make sure you have your camera at hand to take some amazing pictures in front of these amazing monuments. You will be given the chance to go inside the pyramid this is not included in the price but should you wish to go inside the pyramid an additional charge will be made payable on the day.

Finish your day in Cairo with a visit to the papyrus factory, where you will learn how the papyrus is made and have the opportunity to purchase some should you wish to.

You will then be driven back to the airport to catch your return flight back to Hurghada.

If your hotel is not in Hurghada and located in Makadi, Sahl Hasheesh or El Gouna there will be an additional charge of £10 per person.

You will need to bring your passports with you and we recommend you bring a breakfast box from your hotel.

Please note all optional extras are to be paid for on the day to the tour guide and the locals in Cairo. We recommend should you wish to do the extras that you pay for them using local currency.
