Learn to scuba dive with Jasmine Tours

The advanced open water course (AOWD) enables you to increase your scuba diving knowledge and diving experience whilst under the supervision of one of our expert dive instructors.

The course will help build your confidence thus helping you to become more confident in the water. You will learn about deep diving, underwater navigation, wreck diving, drift dives and night diving .  The best part of doing the course it is a great way of getting more dives under your belt whilst learning valuable skills and knowledge from one of our many experienced dive instructors.

In order to be able to do the course you should be at least 15 years of age (under the age of 15 years old you can take the junior advanced open water course). You should be certified as an open water diver.

The course takes 2 days to complete and consists of 5 adventure dives and associated knowledge reviews. From the 5 adventure dives two must include deep diver and underwater navigation the remaining 3 you can choose with our dive instructor.

Upon completion of the advance open water dive course you will be qualified to dive anywhere in the world with a certified dive buddy to a maximum depth of 30 metres.

At Jasmine Tours we offer both PADI and CMAS dive certifications

What’s best CMAS or PADI?The answer is they are both the same. Although PADI is a more well known organisation both CMAS and PADI advanced open water dive courses pass you to do the exact same thing. So our advice to you is if scuba diving is just a hobby go for CMAS. Where as if you are looking at qualifying to take up a career within the scuba diving industry PADI will be the better option as it is the main world wide organisation for diving.
